Weather Policy:

CTH shows go on rain or shine, so its always best to assume the show will perform as scheduled. In the event of rain, the start of the performance may be delayed; however, the performance will begin as soon as it is possible to do so. Performances may also pause for sudden changes in weather, but will resume as soon as weather permits. We will only cancel in extreme weather conditions, and will post alerts here on our website and on social media with as much notice as possible.

Friday, July 8 – Jazzmobile: Come early and set the mood off right by enjoying a sensational jazz performance by Ghanniyya Green & Friends honoring the musical legacy of Sarah Vaughan.

Wednesday, July13 – Chamber Music Center of NYC: Watch and listen as some of New York’s most talented young musicians share their skills.

Thursday, July 14 – Young People’s Chorus of New York City: This award-winning chorus known for bringing children of diverse ethnic, religious and economic backgrounds together through a program of musical excellence, community and educational initiatives under Artistic Director/Founder Francisco J. Núñez, will give a 40-minute preview of its summer tour concert program

Friday, July 15 – Jazzmobile: Come to the Amphitheater early to hear T.S. Monk, the son of the great Thelonius Monk.

Friday, July 22 – Jazzombile: Celebrate Dr. Billy Taylor’s Birthday with a performance by Danny Mixon!

Saturday, July 23 – Black Family Social (begins at 5:00pm), sponsored by Brown Skin Too Foundation: Come for a celebration of Family and stay for Macbeth. Bring a blanket and your favorite dish. All members of your family, as you define it, are welcome!

Friday, July 29 – Jazzombile: Jamaica Jazz Night featuring Myrna Hague & Patience Higgins.

Saturday, July 30 – CTH’s Project Classics Shakespeare Intensive Presentation, in partnership with The Dream Center: 
See CTH’s theatre education students present the culmination of three weeks of study, their own 15-minute version of Macbeth!
