Branford Marsalis Quartet

December 21, 8 PMGinny's Supper Club, Red Rooster, Harlem

This holiday season, The Classical Theatre of Harlem invites you to an intimate evening of jazz, theatre, and Harlem’s creative future.

Led by Grammy Award-winning saxophonist, bandleader, composer, and NEA Jazz Master Branford Marsalis, the Branford Marsalis Quartet brings four decades of adventurous, deeply communicative music-making to Ginny’s Supper Club. This one-night-only gathering celebrates The New Harlem Renaissance—the living, collaborative energy that continues to make Harlem a vital force in American culture.

The concert will also offer guests an early look at The Aethiopes, CTH’s ambitious theatrical triptych—Memnon, Andromeda, and Blood of Odysseus—planned for 2028. Through the lens of the African diaspora, the project will bring stories from the classical canon into urgent conversation with the present.

Join artists, advocates, and community members for a special night honoring Harlem’s legacy while helping make CTH’s next chapter possible.
